I plan to return America to a truer democracy by being an advocate for states' rights to govern themselves. This would mean that your State Government would have more effect on your day-to-day life. Thus, you would be one of 5.5 million citizens instead of one in 280 million. Your vote is 50 times more powerful in a State Election than it is in a Federal Election! It would also reduce the size of the Federal Government and, therefore, lower taxes.

If the Federal Government did not micro-manage, and the major political parties did not constantly undermine the Constitution in an effort to increase their own power, individual states would be more efficient. Federal taxes would drop dramatically, and although your state taxes would increase, your overall taxes would be lower.

We are called the United States of America (and not the Republic of America) because states are supposed to govern themselves. I believe we are United for one major purpose and three minor purposes: DEFENSE — defending our country militarily; defending the people of our country who cannot defend themselves; and defending the environment (because it is not bound by our state borders).

PARTISAN POLITICS ARE BAD FOR OUR COUNTRY!
